Little ones @work preparing a special gift for their loveliest parents - Chocolate Heart Cookie!

After teacher has demostrated the steps, it's their turn to scoop the ingredients and mixed it well. Every child is putting what they have learnt or reinforcing their practical life skill. 

Is it 3spoons of flour, 2spoons of butter and 1spoon of sugar?! The children have to count as they scoop the ingredients to ensure their cookies turns out yummy! 

After mixing the ingredients, they explored the dough by kneading, rolling and flattening it. At the same time, they learnt that dough is soft and oily. This exercise definitely helps in strengthening their fingers muscles. 

Let's cut the dough with the heart shape cutter to provide the shape that we want! Press, press it hard!

Hooray! Finally we may add our favorite toppings - M&M!! 

Last but not least, we are left with placing the dough into the oven. Then we may bring our Chocolate Heart cookie back as a surprise for our parents!

Melts in your mouth but importantly it melts in your heart :)

K2 Valentine's Day Cookery

Valentine's Day is a day where people shower the ones they love with special gifts and cards as a token of appreciation.
Hence, the K2 children had made Strawberry Jam No-bake cheesecake for their love ones.

Step 1: Let's watch YouTube video on how to make the no-bake cheesecake!

These are the ingredients that we needed.

Let's start making the cheesecake base and this was how we did it! :)

Then we spooned the crust into the mould and chilled them in the fridge before continuing the next step.

Time to make the cheesecake! We added the heavy cream, the cheese cream, lime juice, sugar and mixed them well.

Final step! We spooned the cheesecake mix on our cheesecake crust, then chilled them in the fridge again and Voilà!

The end product has been given to Mum and Dad with love. Happy Valentine's Day!

Chinese New Year 2014

Happy Horsey Year 2014! 

On this joyous occasion, we are glad to have parents joining us for the celebration! 

Before we start, all the parents were listening attentively on how to assist the children on winning more Ang Baos :)

Whenever the child has answered correctly, he/she will be given an Ang Bao as a reward! Look at the happiness on their faces!

While the younger ones are having their lunch, the K1 and K2s are playing musical chairs. The spontaneous parents joined in the fun too! 

We continue to look out for delightful smiles and grins...
