As a closure to Sea Animals theme, children were informed of the importance of keeping the sea clean, and reduce pollution emitted. Children were shown how a polluted sea looks like, and how it will affect the marine life.
There after, children had the chance to "pollute" the sea and to also clean it up. Having this hands on activity helps children to understand better, the importance of a clean sea and it helps marine life creatures live safely.
"Eeeiii... so dirty..."
Okay, time to clean up the sea, friends...
"Haaa?? Got paper inside?"
"Hmm... what can I collect from the sea today?"
"Eii yucks..."
More rubbish extracted.
"Now not so many (rubbish) anymore."
Children need to be taught of the importance to keep other habitats clean and safe for them to live in. Good job, children! :)
