Sandplay

When children play in sandboxes together, they learn about teamwork and sharing particularly if there is only one sand pail. The tactile experience of this kind of soft play allows them to express feelings as they may be too young to verbalize.

The children have Sandplay on every Tuesday.  They work with dry sand and sandplay equipment in a huge sand trough.

During this sandplay activity, they learnt to work together by taking turns and sharing of equipments.

Most of the time, the children are very focused when they are exploring with sand and sandplay equipments of their choice.

The children developed their eye-hand co-ordination as they scoop the sand from one place to another.

The children have a variety of moulds to work with such as alphabet, animal or shape moulds to extend their learning experience.

They have another trough for wet sandplay too.
