Maori Facial Painting

During our Passport Around the World, we explored New Zealand's culture and visited Maori's tribe. Children were shown videos on Haka tribe cultural dance, as well as their facial painting. As an extended activity, children had their face / hand painted.

They were all excited and looking forward to be painted! Though some of them preferred to be painted on their hand.
Apart from this, they tried green and golden kiwi as it is the fruit that represent New Zealand. They all could dance well to the tribal dance too! You may search from YouTube and dance along with them!
