Doughnut making Day
Step 1
Scooping and Pouring the Dry Ingredients:
Plain flour, Wheat flour, Salt, Icing sugar, Baking Powder
Step 2
Mixing the dry ingredients
Children are asked to observe what happens when it is mixed? The plain flour seemed to have covered all other ingredients.
Step 3
Mixing the ingredients together.
While waiting for the doughnut to be baked, the children are to draw circles to represent the doughnut.
With more exposure to drawing using crayons that are thicker, it helps to reinforce and practice their fine motor skills - palmer grip. Their fingers will be stronger and at the same time, to learn how to draw a circle.
